Admission Process

Subject to vacancies, the school will give to a student as per norms; a time bound admission to its pre primary section as also following of age and physical fitness as per school’s standard. Grant of admission to class I to IX will be, in addition, subject to acceptable previous school report and a successful outcome and entrance interaction. To secure admission, parents must return school’s application form duly completed and signed, along with the supporting documents and pay the fees, deposits, refundables on or before the date declared by the school, after which the admission shall be deemed withdrawn. Admission is confirmed only when the school receives the duly completed and signed admission form, along with the supporting documents and fees, refundables, deposits have been paid.


Eligibility

Admission is open to all the classes from Nursery to Grade IX. Children must fulfill the minimum age requirement as laid by NEP 2020, which says, the child must have attained the age as mentioned by 31st March of the current academic year: for Nursery-3 years; for LKG - 4 years; for UKG-5 years; for Class I - 6 years and so on..


Registration

A student granted admission will be registered on completion on student’s registration form which entails payment of a registration fees, verification of submitted documents, submission of photographs, certified physical fitness certificate, certified copy of a student's annual evaluation of the last class attended and examination pass and acceptance of these terms.


Fees and Deposits

Admission fees is not refundable once paid. On application tuition and other fees, as paid, on grant of admission are refunded on pro rata basis. Deposits if taken, are refundable by cheques without interest less any sundry outstanding charges or balances due to the school after the student has left the school.



A NOTE TO PARENTS

It would help the school greatly if the parents could make sure that –
  1. Children come to school regularly on time and neatly dressed.
  2. Their children bring the required text and exercise books to school which should be properly maintained.
  3. Their children do their home assignments regularly which is provided to develop creativity.
  4. Fees are paid on time else late fee will be applicable.
  5. Their children’s progress reports are collected and signed on time.
  6. They meet the Teachers, the Principal only during the specified time and on the specified days. They should clearly state their purpose of coming to school and move out of the school as soon as their purpose has been solved.
  7. They check school almanac regularly.
  8. They write down their own remarks in the school almanac for the information of the teacher.
  9. They submit all leave notes on time and clearly mention their child’s name, class and division in the leave notes. Notes written on scrapes of paper will not be accepted.
  10. A student once withdrawn from the school by theparents, will be readmitted with fresh admission process.
  11. The leaving certificate will not be issued until all dues are settled.
  12. They glance through books, note books and answer scripts of their children.
  13. They do not allow their children to bring expensive articles to school.
  14. They understand and appreciate the need for correction and occasional consequence which the Principal may meet out to their child.
  15. They don’t send their child to school when he / she is suffering from any infectious disease.
  16. They submit applications for verification of date of birth, fee reimbursement certificate and other forms for signature ten days in advance.
  17. They should address all letters to the Principal / Class Teacher.
  18. They don’t call or disturb the Principal/Teachers/Office Staff at their residences under any circumstances. They must understand that the school business is to be transacted during School hours and in School only unless it is a matter of utmost urgency.
  19. Counselling - Counselling facilities are available for students and parents.
  20. The School counsellor is available for any problems faced by students /parents.
  21. They meet the School counsellor by taking prior appointment.
  22. Parents must come to school well dressed and certainly not in informal attires or footwear.
  23. Parents should not enter school with the face covered any time.
  24. If a child gets more than three remarks. Parents should come and meet the Principal on the specified date.
  25. Parents are requested to take utmost advantage of the school counsellor. Please contact the office for details. Parents too are welcome.
